Getting there

The nearest metro stops are Maelbeek and Schuman, a short walk from the building. You can also come by train to Brussels-Luxembourg. From the Progress Hotel area near Brussels-North, expect a ride by metro or train with one change, roughly 20 to 30 minutes door to door. From the Grand-Place it is a short metro hop.

Planning your visit

Opening days and hours depend on the Parliament’s calendar and can change, so check the official website. Security checks at the entrance are normal, so don’t bring large bags. Visits to the Parliament’s debating chamber are organised separately; look up the conditions on the Parliament’s website.

Combine it with the Cinquantenaire park nearby, or with a guided walk through the city’s heritage. Both are within reach by metro.
